Tuesday's top games to watch (11/20)

North Side at South Side (girls) -- I will be here. The North Side football is still alive in state semifinals, and that means three of the Indians' starters won't be available. So the girls' game will be featured here. South Side dropped its opening game against Westview. North Side is 0-2. A win by South Side would be big in starting this season. Ke'Shunan James and Stephanie Tipler will need to stay out of foul trouble. North Side has been hit by injuries. Brendi Stokes is going to have to play her game for the Lady Indians to have a shot.

McNairy Central at Middleton (girls) --McNairy Central is off to a hot start despite losing a lot of scoring to graduation. The Lady Bobcats beat Madison and North Side. The post play of McNairy's Mikaela Rowland vs. Middleton's Deja Fualkner along with the matchup of McNairy's Briana Phelps against Middleton's Averyale Joy will be ones to watch.

Bradford at Gleason (girls) -- These two teams hold a combined nine state championships, and both are looking to build back to that level. Bradford in under a new coach in Merideth Jacobs. Amanda Evans and Leah Beth Reeves are key for the Lady Red Devils. Gleason lost last night to Greenfield, and the Lady Bulldogs want to rebound with a win. Post Briana Jones will be key for Gleason.

Greenfield at Dresden (girls) -- These are two new-look teams. Greenfield opened with a win last night, and the Lady Yellowjackets will look to Brittany Peoples to keep the winning going tonight.
Dresden lost four key players from last year, which means Amy McAlpin and Carrie Hatchel will have to carry most of the load.

Hardin County at Adamsville (girls) -- Hardin County could be one of the teams to beat in 13-AAA if the Lady Tigers continue to improve. Emily Gray is key in the post for Hardin County. Adamsville beat Clarksburg last night, but Hardin County will bring a tougher test. Keatinez Lloyd will run the offense at guard.
